poor communication but decent room size

The size of the room was generous providing ample space for my stay. The mattress itself felt comfortable allowing for a decent night's sleep despite the unfortunate circumstances.

There was a significant issue with the communication regarding pet policies.

Had a last-minute stay and Jayson at the front desk was amazing! He helped us snag a AAA discount, which was super helpful. My kids were comfy, and we really appreciated his kindness. The breakfast was decent too, loved the waffles! Only bummer was the tiny parking lot, but overall, a good place to crash.

It was just a fine choice for a weekend break in Pierre with reasonable price. The front desk staff provided great service, even helping us late at night. Make sure to ask for a room on the ground floor if you have trouble with stairs.

Upon entering, the room had a noticeable stale smoke scent, which some might find off-putting. The closet door wouldn't close properly, creating a slightly awkward atmosphere.
